The
Reunion Committee is making available, by pre-order, Pekin Chinks ruby red acrylic
mugs, little green Chink Beany Dragons and Reunion Booklets. Novelties and/or
booklets may be picked up at the registration desk either evening June 29 or
30. Please use the order blank below.
If you
wish to bring memorabilia, there will be a display area available. Such items
as old or current pictures, etc. Be sure to mark your items and take them home
that evening.
Anyone
wishing to donate a door prize (from your business, handicrafts, etc.) please
advise the Reunion Committee. We will also have a photographer available for
group photos on Saturday evening for $9.00 per picture.
This
weekend reunion has been planned by your Committee to be relaxing and casual.
Hope you will be able to join us for a memorable "Class of 1961"
Pekin High School Reunion. And, if you happen to be a "single" please
don't let that stop you from coming ...there are a lot of single people today.
We are
also extending an invitation to the graduates of 1960 and 1962 to attend the
Sock Hop Friday evening, June 29th as well as inviting the teachers to the
Saturday night dinner. Please get the word out to them. (We'll also be placing
a notice in the Pekin newspaper. ) If you know anyone from those classes or any
teachers interested, they should notify Connie (Martin) Dean at 348-3003 or

If you
need accommodations, Super 8 has rooms for $57.00 a night ph. 309/347-8888. The
Ramada Inn on Court Street has rooms for $59.00 a night ph. 800/347-5533, and
